When the forecasters said we were going to get 1-3" of snow and slush, Chris and I didn't think twice about his travel plans, so we kissed him goodbye and I got some rock salt out. Well, the snow started, and it kept snowing, and snowing. As the forecasters scrambled and struggled to explain it, we amazingly for two solid feet of snow- 2 inches more than last month's blizzard. Thankfully we maintained power during this storm, and thankfully my neighbors plowed us out, again.
(and on a side note, during the storm, both kids were playing quietly. I walked by the dining room and noticed a few blond locks of hair on the ground. Nina's explanation: "I had syrup in my hair so I cut it". Photo evidence of Nina's first haircut.)
